Dog Camp Info

What is dog camp?

Dog Camp is a dog walking service for friendly dogs with basic obedience and good manners. Each dog is picked up at their house and transported with their buddies to an off-leash friendly outdoor area to hike, swim, play, socialize, sniff and learn. Dog Camp is similar to a half-day of traditional dog daycare since it runs for roughly 3-5 hours.

Dog Camp is great for adventurous dogs who love to run and play outside then spend the rest of their day resting.

About the Pack Leader

Ky has been working with dogs for over 17 years. They are a force free dog trainer. The primary focus for dog camp is to create an off-leash environment that focuses on meeting dogs mental, emotional and physical needs.

Ky believes that spending time outdoors is critical to the well-being of all dogs, and they are here to provide an environment for your dog to thrive!

What's in it for the pawrents?

  1. Pick up and Drop Off - Your dog will be picked up on their scheduled day of camp and dropped off afterwards - no need to schedule time to deliver your pup!
  2. Peaceful & Relaxing Evenings - When your pup's physical, mental, and emotional needs are met you'll have a calm dog who is well behaved when you come home from work!
  3. Off-leash with Your Pup - At camp we work to reinforce your dog's off-leash recall skills. This means you'll have a reliable dog you can take hiking or camping on the weekends!

Is your dog ready for camp?

WE ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW DOGS INTO THE PACKS.

Dog camp is best for dogs who love to spend time with other dogs, don't feel too stressed meeting new dogs, who enjoy the car and can ride well with dogs they do not know, and who love being outside in all weather conditions. Please refer to the que

Camp is best suited for dogs who spend time off leash with their owners. At camp we will work on sharpening recall skills. We can teach recall to dogs with the right personalities. Camp is not well-suited for dogs who run off often and don't come back when called.

Dogs who enjoy spending time with other dogs and people are ideal candidates for camp. We strive to create packs for different personalities, however if your dog really would rather only be around people they aren't suitable for camp.

All dogs ride in the car together. Dogs that are comfortable in the car and comfortable in close proximity to other dogs in the car are ideal for camp. Dogs who don't like being confined around other dogs, dogs who get car sick, and dogs who bark a lot in the car aren't suitable for camp.

Dogs under 12 months are not suitable for camp. Dogs under this age are still typically in a growth period where their bones are still developing. If your dog is under 12 months we can still work with them in a different capacity to get them ready for camp -- reach out to get started in our camp prep program.
